Excellent work sir Byers,
E-mailed you with my wishes, I shall swill a pint in your name while wrenching on the bastard! |
I have returned from battle...
Victorious!
Nurburgring.....WOW! What an experience that track is. I was able to enjoy myself and get in 4 very fun laps of the 13 mile track! I do have to admit that I was very scared the first two...and only slightly scared the last two. I will probably never go back since I do feel that it is probably the most dangerous thing I have ever done!!! I have a small teaser clip I will link to for you, as I need some time to compile the lap footage and compress it down. My camera is not able to run a complete lap...so I have three clips that make up one lap, great fun! So Gruppe B represented today and I was even able to spread the word. teaser clip 1.8 MB http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/meNURBURG.JPG |
As the Inquistor of the Gruppe B....we must root out any heresy and expunge it from our midst..to keep the faith pure as JohnJC and others intended it to be. To keep those R Gruppe and SCWDP Barbarians from infiltrating and corrupting the Gruppe B faithfull. Therfore I am working up a list of questions that only the faithful and pure Gruppe B members would know the answers to , that will expose the corruption of the heretic's in our midst. And I can tell that there are many....
First Question...How many Porsches can you fit on the head of a pin? Second Question: Why are the R Gruppers and SCWDPers in league with the Devil? Third Question: Why doesn't the Gruppe B faithfull have Goats? Fourth Question: Which member of the R Gruppe is just an evil old man? To refresh a suspected heretics memory a special workout on the rack or a nice refreshing dip in the moat can be arranged. If any of the faithful have further questions that they would like to put to the corruptors of the faith please feel free to submit your questions in triplicate to the Inquisitor for his personal review.... |
Great video Sir Smitty :) can,t wait to see the rest of it. You did great i know how hard it is over there my friend. On some parts it,s so shaky it feels like your teeth are falling out :D
SmileWavy |
thanks Sir Ed...it was a blast.
On the full video it shows that I did not know thw track...slow through turns I should have been full throttle through, and way to fast in turns that I should be going easy through...but what fun it was! The early runs were fun since nobody was on the track yet, then it got busy and laps were scary with all the traffic...felt like wheel to wheel racing! HA HA Back to the autox for me. |
Welcome back K9 and glad to hear word of your victorious adventure as a member of "The Ring" on the "Ring". Congratulations on being the first of the Gruppe B bretheren to make the daunting journey as a member. I am sure you wore your title well and with great pride! The alliance is indeed represented well in the domain of Europe.
And on behalf of Gruppe B, I want to offer our prayers and deepest sympathies to those families who lost their loved ones yesterday on the Ring. |
Thank you #001...Euro Division is all present and accounted for, and looking for more members!
The full video is being rendered as I type this and will be available for posting in appx 1 hour...looking for a host, anyone? Wuf! Wuf! |
Fellow loyalists. As the dissemination of information is vital to the advancement of our powerful cause, it is imperative that any and all Gruppe B Knights with ideas regarding the design of our Propaganda Network (website), make contact with the Minister of Information... Sir jstgermaine, and make your ideas known. And this must be done post haste as his labors are intensive. The ideals in which this thread has been founded have struck chord my friends and it is believed that such humor and language could be perhaps be carried onward in the site. Please contact the M.O.I. via the miracle of the PM or Email.

|
Beep Beep!
Nice job. This thing is coming together really well. I can't believe the amount of time and energy people have put into this thing. Thanks Troy |
10,000 soon. I had no idea this would happen.
|
John,
Be careful what you wish for...it just may come true.;) BTW I am following your lead and have placed a Porsche hood badge on my F250 Beater!:D |
I now make my noble intention known..the Bastard will undergo transformation in order to infiltrate the RGuppie camp. My beloved steed will be kept from the battlefield for an undetermined amount of time and occupy a stall at the blacksmith for a BACKDATE!
Yes my fellow knights, tis a horrible thing I must do to my mid-year chariot, but I do so with the truest intention and in the name of our cause. Tis the truest path of hotrod passion. Post backdate, I shall sneak out under the cover of night and attempt to blend into the RGuppie camp...once seeded deeply in the camp, I shall destroy the the enemy from within..if I should fail, I am requesting that my fellow knights tend to my land and cottage...provide ration to my surfs and set them free for their master will not return... :D |
Souk,
Wicked Bad! Will it be done in time for the Benefit carshow? You know you wanna go to that. A guy at our DE won the carshow with a backdated 1984 911. It looked more like a '73 than my car! |
I hope it will be done by then and a trip to Austin's car show is not entirely out of the question. If I can get my personal blacksmith, No. 15, to work on my flares soon, it'll just be a matter of paint..which I will attempt to do most of myself..with help from my blacksmith.
..if you want to see what it will look like, look at the old pictures of Jack's BB1. The last piece I need will be ordered soon if I can't find a used piece, an RS rear bumper. I have despersed my surfs throughout the land to find a bumper for my steed..they ride through e-bay listings and classifieds to satisfy their master..I shall reward them with a feast of roasted swine and barrels of Guinness. RS rear with C2 motorized lid/spoiler, S front...Black with silver Carrera scipt courtesy of Mike Z, with chromed hardware here and there... I'm going to try and stop by a local trucking company to weight the car before the transformation to see what the weight difference is. Wish me luck my fellow warriors, I am ready for more punishment and strain on my relationship with the Dutchess. Fair well, Duke Souk |
Outstanding Sir Souk! As I am too in the process of converting the '76 into a long hooded, wide bodied mid year Bast@rd. The only thing I am struggling with is color. Black or Silver. I have red interior so Im thinkin silver might be the way to go. I would love to see a picture of a silver 73 RSR with maybe a grey Carrera Script so that it doesnt leap out as loudly as a black script would. More stealthy. Can anybody do that??
|
John, I have struggled for months to decide on Black or Silver. My car was originally silver, but I don't like the vintage 936 silver. It is not reflective enough to show the curves and bulges of the 911. I know black will be a PIA to maintain, but I am anal enough to handle it I think. And I have always wanted a Black 911.
Good luck with your backdate..we will ride onto the field of battle with our heads held high for we know the true meaning of hotrodding! .. WUF WUF! |
LOL i see Mr914 on Sir beeps list hehe i,m sure he will be happy with that ;)
|
Here is a pic of the 1984 911 backdated.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/back456.JPG John, Silver with red interior is my FAV! I was thinking about maroon scripts on the red queen. Sneaky...;) |
John, since you have a red interior, how about GP White with red Carrera decals and red centered Fuchs?
|
Ive thought about that Jim ..... but I wanted something a little different, after all my car is a B@st@rd. LOL I went to a car show this weekend in Eureka Springs and saw a beautiful silver car with red interior and it was striking. The key is finding the right "shade" of silver.
|
Then might I suggest Viper Green for the exterior? :D
|
#001
#002 #003 #075 You have mail.:D |
Hey...I'm not on the list...snif sniff.....being a rogue...I am against the numbers game...therefore I have chosen the title "Inquisitor" but if you must persist in the conformists confidence game than I suppose #0 will do....
|
OK, so let me get this straight. There are the following organizations besides Gruppe B:
SCWDP HP Junkies MFIWDP RGruppe Didst I miss any? Fellow knights, which of these varlets be our arch-nemeses? Whither shouldst we aim our slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune? |
Sir Blue, I would say that the RGuppies are the foulest of all our foes. :D
|
Sir Jerry, no e-mail yet..must be my server has been infected with the slow desease of the SCWDPoopers! Hang tight if ye require a return messenger..mine has been injured!
|
Ha Ha.....so who noticed the SCWDP Guy in my video?
I did put the Gruppe B name in the title screens as well...spreading the word one bastard at a time! Wuf! Wuf! Souk, I got the email...must be the SCWDP intercept screwing with you and stealing our secrets! |
