RIP Norman Lear
A truly innovative creator of entertainment. Everyone knows of his big hits but he had a 1 season show that virtually no one knows that was ahead of it's time.

RIP. Thanks for the laughs Norman, you were responsible for quite a few of them.
I guess we'll never get a "HOT L Baltimore" reboot or rerun now..... one of the few things I haven't found on the internet...... HOT L Baltimore. Quite a few stars, never a rerun, not on utube.

I have very mixed feelings. He was too smart for his audience.
All in the Family was meant to poke fun at why Archie was wrong. Most folks saw him as an American Icon. Archie hit waaay too close to some negative people in my life back then. Gave me the shivers. |
