im sorry that equality feels like oppression, it isnt. stop listen to men who claim to victims, and can't take responsibility for themselves or their feelings, and it will all sort itself out. :) the world isnt coddling men anymore, and we are better for it. |

if you can't tell the difference, then you probably need to examine your own thoughts and feelings as to why that is. there is only one persons actions, thoughts and feelings we can change, and thats our own. |
Just to clarify Mr Punk. That video was for fun only . Even if your perspective on things seems slightly whack to me , I like and respect you .
I was hesitant to hit post, but Ill do anything in the name of fun, or for a Klondike . |

i was responding to the accusation that somehow a post of mine telling men to stop listening to men who can't handle their own emotions and can't take responsibility for there own actions, is likely leading them to not handle there own emotions, and not being able to take responsibility for there own emotions, was somehow .... about defending women. which is, of course, total nonsense. but the observation that what it felt like to some men was siding with women, in some supposed battle of sexes, does give us some insight into how these kind of men think, and what they think about the world around them. |

I am going through the process of cutting someone out of my life at the moment because of his sick relationship w women and sex, IMO. I just don’t want to hear what he has to say anymore. I can have *non-rosey* opinions about my fellow human beings at times but he goes way beyond what I can accept. Peace out. |

Sorry I’m just catching the last pages of Dixie’s threat and I got into some weird men’s venting group? :D
|
I have absolutely not read every comment on this as there are 21 pages and my attention span just can't do it. But I do have a thought / advice.
Desperation / micro desperation is a horrible toxic thing and you need to work to stay away from any sort of it. Other people have mentioned just being yourself and similar. You need to chill out and play slightly aloof while signaling your interest. It is a VERY fine line. When I was working full time, I addressed sales desperation by having a huge funnel of prospects. This meant that if someone didn't work out I had volumes of work and it wasn't a loss. Result: not desperate. I don't really know how to play this out in dating. But it is important to be aware so you don't fall into the trap. GOOD LUCK! Dixie, you come across as intelligent, emotionally mature, and interesting just on PPOT. I suspect you are even better in person. |

Wyatt grasped the stool and pulled. The stool, with me on it, slid to him. It stopped when our shoulders touched. I liked that. I liked that a lot. Enough that a flutter of butterflies erupted in my heart. Wyatt pushed his cowboy hat back some, leaned in, and spoke softly, "what I like most about you is your great personality." The butterflies vanished. I sat motionless, staring straight ahead. Calmly I replied, Wyatt, you need to add that I'm pretty. Women want to hear we're pretty, not that we have personality. I didn't get all dolled up and put on a skirt that barely covers the promised land because men are attracted to personality.Wyatt grinned and wrapped his arm about my waist. "Oh, you're pretty all right. Sexy too, but you're a spitfire, and that's what sets you apart." - The Adventures of Bobbi Sue, Southern Belle Bound for Hell |

As for the tone of your post, as well as those of a few others, I'll just overlook that. You're really not worth my time. |

like, doesn't float my boat, but we are of very different ages, life positions, its also pretty clear that we probably appreciate different things in relationships. but like, im not here to yuck anyone's yum. and the need to respond taking credit away from you, or going all red pill over it, is just, ~wild~. like no one asked you. if you have a **** opinion, keep it to yourself. like why would you share that if you are a dude? also the amount of thirsting after you dixie, makes it clear that someone, somewhere, should probably be taking notes. like guys, dixie is talking about what revs her engine, someone, somewhere, wants to do that. so like they should be taking notes. like, what the reasonable **** are these dudes doing? no wonder women hate you. |

thats why you are a bad person, and i am not. it may be related to why so many men are part of this loneliness epidemic, and i am not. but thats another layer entirely. turns out when you treat women like people, they dont mind spending time with you. shocking i know. |
Who said anything about Dixie? LOL.

What happened to behaving like gentlemen?

loneliness epidemic? why do you jump on every bandwagon like its actually real and then go around proselytizing your righteous baloney?
Ive never been lonely in my life. I dont know anybody that is lonely because they are single. Typically, myself included, people who are single are very happy and choose to remain single. Im married but I lived alone for 15 years and I was happy as could be. If a person is lonely, they need to go do some chores or get a hobby, or start drinkin. Having a woman or a man has nothing to do with it and is certainly no guarantee that you wont be lonely. A person can be married 50 years and be the loneliest person in the world...you'll see :-) I don't bother chasing mice around I slink down the alley, looking for a fight Howling to the moonlight on a hot summer night Singin' the blues while the lady cats cry.....
