Sex after 60? Do you mean…with someone?

Couldn’t resist. :-)

It dawned on me. I should capitalize from dating an attorney while I can.

I'm going to have myself declared legally young and sexy. lol

You mean Pro Bono?
Make sure you use protection. ;)

Sorry, I'm channeling my inner 13 year old.

Best
Les

Update: Mr. Attorney cancelled two out of six dates, so I'm done. No, I'm not mad. Im too old for that. Plus, men are like trains. If you miss one, another will be along any minute.

Hopefully that might be this guy. He figured out where I live, and dropped by to show me his LS swapped 68 Camaro. (We're both Sarasota Camaro Club members.) Time will tell if he stopped by to show me his car, or to check me out.

Sorry to hear about the attorney, maybe your no attorney rule was solid! My money is he was married- what town doesn’t have cell service, like when he was “out of town” and couldn’t call?

Good luck on this new fella- guys don’t just show up to show you their car.

Some women might find that cool, others possibly creepy/concerning.

Agreed; however, he did it the right way. Like getting a dear to eat from your hand, he let me approach the last few feet. He simply road around the plaza in front of my house a couple times. I saw/heard his Camaro, figured he noticed my ZL1, and stepped outside. Then he stopped and we talked.

Contrast that to the dude who, without saying a word, followed me home from Home Depot thinking I'd just invite him in. That terrified me.

And a Cliff Clavin moment... GM's marketing launch for the 1967 Camaro included pop songs, and six women's dresses available in department stores. (That women might care how cars performed was still a silly notion.)

The misogynist American-English phrase girls—or women—are like streetcars—or buses—: there’ll be another one right along, and its numerous variants, mean there will be many more romantic opportunities in the future. They are used in particular to console men disappointed in love.

Edit: Sugarwood, Would you kindly elaborate on how the entomology of this saying is relevant? I'm trying to avoid letting your prior responses to me taint how I'm processing your quoted post. I mean, at face value, you're restarting the obvious.

Crowbob 11-30-2023 04:59 PM

Etymology.

Entomology is bugs.
