The vast majority of my friends are married. I know a few widowers, and they were married for most of their life, and really have no interest in another wife or even dating.

I have been happily married for 32 years, and I can't image dating again. Blech!

That's pretty damn funny. I'm 64, almost 65, and I'll be using that in the future.

herr_oberst 10-19-2023 10:29 AM

Shaun, I think with your body type a simple black dress without the lace would be a better look, I like the sunhat though. You wear that and the glasses well.

(PS, the reason you identify as 20 is because you don't have kids. This is a known fact.)

Shaun is a dude! KC was just giving him a hard time because his post talked about both himself and some woman and he posted the lady’s photo.

I'm pretty sure that KC knew that; so did I. I guess the green type is ALWAYS needed on this forum.

Steve Carlton 10-19-2023 12:29 PM

Shaun is also a girl's name.

Shaun can also be spelled Sean or Shawn. Same pronunciation. And I've heard Sean pronounced "Seen".

wdfifteen 10-19-2023 12:48 PM

My wife's friend came over this morning.

"Since you're a man, I need to ask you a man question. What should the tire pressure be in my Chevy Trax?"

The nerve!! What a sexist. I should know the tire pressure in a car I've never seen just because I have a nice bulge in my pants?

"35 front and rear."

Not since he sprouted a rack and grew his hair long.

I am very well aware of the lace faux pas, it was part of the converation that day over brunch, fun fact, I sold my boys clothing line to start a women's couture line and Tru6 was just a cash flow vehicle to give me time and money to work on the couture for a year or 2 before launch. Sadly it took 4 whole years to solve a creative challenge that was central to the line so here we are.

You know I always wanted kids and even had two magazines, Modern Dad and FirstTime Dad, but god I'm glad I didn't. I know the rewards are great but I couldn't imagine a better life. It's pretty great never getting old. Only problem is other people do.

Navy, kidney, black or green? Fava, no way, I'm not a fan of chianti.

Seriously... Imagine leaning in for a kiss and then just as you're getting close, there it is again - CORN. As in freshly cooked corn on the cob. It wasn't horrible, just weird.

Now I'll have to set up a photoshoot. Not as rugged looking as my old friend Sean but I am pretty rugged in real life, so I've got that going for me.

I was just thinking he sort of resembles the Canadian politician, Pierre Poilievre .

Has anyone seen both of them in the same place at the same time, maybe he has a Canadian alter ego

I wonder what he can do with leftover roast duck. Carved a breast off the bird, made a quick cherry sauce, duck skin cracklins, honey-birdseye whipped cream and truffle fries. The sweet and spicy whipped cream was great. Tonight I'm doing fried chicken and hot honey over leftover French toast from brunch.

You think so? Pic from May at Gordon Murray Auto's manufacturing shop in England, most recent I've got.

I would make an awesome president or PM, I will say that.

That's a VERY English style shirt Shaun.

Thanks FB, I got it in Paris back in '19 but I think you are correct about English style, I had two completely random English strangers compliment the shirt while I was there.

Thank you Peter, I'd like to think my diet of only real food and working hard keeps me fit. I can only imagine if I could get on my bike a few times a week.

Yes, it's very James May. I have 3 shirts in his style, purchased randomly over the years, and love each one. I've found that you can't just go shopping for this kind of shirt. They appear out of nowhere and you have to buy it.
