Friend of mine used to provide "home care" for an older lady who lived on a local golf course. She said the lady was always joyous when she found "easter eggs" in her back yard :)

Bosco lives to find golf balls. If he sees one in our yard, he looks at me crying then looks out back until I let him go get it. If I just happen to let him out back for any reason he makes a beeline straight into the bushes and ALWAYS comes out with a golf ball.

As a teen, when kids actually played backyard tackle football .... a Sunday afternoon game across from the "club" was a tradition.... "Goldie" was the lovable neighborhood retriever that always had a tennis ball in her mouth.... she'd just go up to the tennis courts and grab one from outside the fence :). |
Or, push a little further.
Print a pad of “claim forms.” Name Date Where impacted Insurance company Policy number That could be interesting. |

Prove it ... and GLWT. Balls hitting yer house or in your backyard "comes with the territory" next to a golf course imo. Ask Bosco :D |
I have a basket of about 50 golf balls that I've found in my yard and I keep it on the deck so they can all see it. I found three in the last week.

No advice but I am reminded of my favorite golf saying when a member of the foursome hits one waayy OOB:
"You could wrap that ball in bacon and Lassie still couldn't find it..." Tip your... |
About a month’s worth…
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1697483884.jpg This crate in the garage has been filled a couple of times… http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1697483986.jpg I take them to the First Tee boys and girls club…they have a driving range and their own course. I think my wife has decided she’s going to hand out papers with instructions on how to cure a hook. |
True story- My first job was at a golf club. I washed peoples balls and waxed their clubs.

Reminds me of this episode:

Stay in your lane.

Keep your balls to yourself!

As to your Wife and the pamphlet for curing a hook.
You could put up a Little Free Library and stock in with things like Golf for Dummies. There is a lot of potential here. |
Fun stuff.
Be light-hearted about it: “May the course be with you...” Bonus points if they are Catholic and a Star Wars fan. Not mine but it works. |
Lots of great comment but this thread reminded me of a scene from the movie "Casino".
Do you remember when the FBI ran out of fuel and they had to land their plane on a golf course? As soon as the Wise Guys realized who's plane it was they started taking shots at it with gold balls! lol... :D "Hundred Dollars whoever hits the plane" https://youtu.be/jFPV16f182w?si=_Pj2_EZ3iVJm20ZN |
