Pretty sure the Cybertruck was designed on an 8086 cpu where they charged by polygon.

I’m trying my best to figure out why on God’s green earth did somebody sign off on those awful ovals on the front of Rivians.

The one on the left is one reason I won’t even think about buying a Rivian. The one on the right is another reason and confirms my disgust.

It looks cool in person and is distinctive. They work very well too.

Those ovals look like a Japanese emoji with chromosome damage.

Rivian headlights are a bit cartoony but I think the rest of the truck is attractive and, dare I say it, classy - for a pickup truck.

A friend went from a Tesla S to a Rivian pickup and says he likes it a lot better. I didn't ask why.

Whoever built this thing knew what they were doing. If you look closely it's obviously hand made and yet on TV it looked "Production".

That rover thing was the coolest part of Lost In Space. Plus I hated Dr. Smith so bad. The blond mom also stirred some kind of strange emotion, too.

I like the clean paper design approach. There's no reason an EV needs to look like an ICE vehicle. But it may also be a foolish approach. People don't accept change easily.

If I were on Tik-Tok or Instagram, sure thing I'd get one. There are influencers whose entire schtick is owning a Tesla. Hell, there are people whose whole schtick is owning shares of Tesla. I don't know what Jay Leno was thinking, buying a bunch of different cars...

I'm over run with Cybertruck news since posting here. I don't read them, but I do look at the photos. All I can say is it's one cheap and impractical looking vehicle, ugh.
