MSC Baltic III aground on Canadian Coast

It’s pretty certain this little cargo ship will break apart on the west coast of Newfoundland…

One more problem Canada doesn’t need right now.

Geez what a mess. I know the host said it’s an older ship that lost power, still it’s crazy to see something like that in 2025.

Maybe Paul will chime in on his thoughts on if this could have been a cyber attack… like what may have happened in Baltimore.

"Men that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
For He commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof."

It takes a kind of courage I don't have to be one of the men that go down to the sea in ships.

It is one of my favorites of the Psalms. Before you get started on me, it is variously translated with the first word as "Men," "They," or "Them." I like this version the best.

I love boats and the water. I find the open sea to be mesmerizing and terrifying.
