I read he is mentally ill with Schizophrenia. He needs to be chemically or surgically altered to no longer be a menace to society or prisons. He's barely in touch with his violence or even knowing if it's wrong.

I like that look on him. Maybe because my dad was an elderly judge…naw, it just suits him.

He still faces further sentencing on the attack of the judge, and the deputies. I hope they add aon a long long sentence for attacking a judge while sitting on the bench and doing her job.

I'm guessing he's been and will continue to be a recipient of blue justice. MPD doesn't F around. And to be clear in this case I'm in favor of the selective application of the maple shampoo.

He's mentally ill. He needs confinement in a mental facility.

Nope, he need real prison. He has been convicted of violent attacks and receive light sentences and thinks he can use violence to solve any issue. He need to be kept in prison for a long sentence, until he is a very old man, just to keep the innocent safe from him.

I agree society needs to be protected from Deobra Redden until he is no longer a threat. He's clearly mentally ill, according to his family he suffers from bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and exposure to cocaine in his system when he was born. I'm confident much of that is true, and simply putting him in prison isn't the correct solution. It seems the court system has already failed him in a big way, and also society. Did you see what he said in that courthouse? Do you think he's within a mile of playing with a full deck?

I completely understand what you are saying, Steve, and I have compassion for him as a human being because I'm sure that he is suffering from something. I just also think that the rest of society needs to be protected from dangerous people. Unlike some, I do not want to see him beaten in prison by the guards or deputies and my flippant remark was more a statement about the restraints on him. He won't get another chance to attack a judge, that's for sure.

^^^ Good....that should keep him busy for quite a few years.
I wonder what the 'fluid' charge is?

I’m not optimistic this guy will ever be safe in society. It’s a shame if he can’t be helped.

I will be that guy . He's a POS . He has always been a POS . As long as he breathes oxygen he will be a POS . Your not going to fix him . He will never contribute to society . So because he can't be responsible and his family can't be responsible society has to carry the burden to incarcerate for a very long time .

Do you think he's a violent person by choice, or a victim of his mental illnesses? Do you consider him a POS if he has no choice or control of his behavior?
