He was fairly close to Alonso in Bahrain. Lance is getting much more panning than Perez. Maybe not all fair but most interviews do little to make him a likeable driver. See what the next few races bring. 😀

Wow, Oliver Bearman dropped in for Sainz comes in 10th in FP3 pretty amazing.

I thought schwartzman was the spare driver ? If he still is he must be wondering WTF.. bearman is impressive though.
edit: Bearman is indeed the reserve driver for 2024 - man, the luck of the kid.... 2nd race boom !!! Apparently he's not bad at all. Love to see new blood.

And he is all of 18 year old. Alonzo was racing back when he was born, and still at it.

I think back to when I was 18, and my driving experience was a 60 HP 1973 VW Bug. I had only a smattering of interest in F1 back then, and he is driving for Ferrari, and doing very well.

Helmut Marko now possibly facing suspension , allegedly for being involved in leaking info . If true that was really a stupid move . So the woman accuser is suspended and Marko may be suspended . My take ? This was a failed power grab but that's an opinion based on not seeing the facts of the Horner investigation . What a $hit show !!!

Yea, the DJ playing thump thump thump "music" on an endless loop making it impossible to talk has to be a big annoyance to most people. I honestly can't care less about the "celebrities" attending the race. Show me the cars, the drivers and the track. People in the stands are a total of waste of video as well.

I enjoy fan shots. I like it when the fans notice they are on camera and then show genuine enthusiasm.

Except for shots of beautiful women. Otherwise, I am in agreement with the rest of your post. The celebrity gridwalk portion is just too painfully cringe for me to watch.

Liberty is in talks now to buy MotoGP from Dorna. They'll need a return on that investment, so I imagine the'll employ some of the same tricks to build fanbase.
