Its currently much windier and slightly warmer than prior days.
|
Congratulations to the race winner and to the drivers champion .

Paging the Captain........... any idea why Carlos didn't receive a penalty for the pit line infraction ? All the announcers were sure he would receive a penalty as it was clearly seen via video .
To be clear I am glad he didn't as I love see him beating his team mate . But I thought ( may be wrong ) that crossing the pit lane entry and exit lines was a clear penalty . |
Sorry no idea what happened there but LeClerc let rip on the radio.....
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/vasseur-unconcerned-by-leclerc-radio-rage-after-sainzs-vegas-pass/10676090/ Should feel very excited by Max's 4th championship win as it's my 7th but I'm just not feeling it Still too excited from buying myself a new snowboard and body armour the day before  Man has got to keep the right perspective on the important things in life! :D |
Found an explanation of why Carlos wasn't penalized for the entering the pit incident .

Nice to see the race winner beating his teammate once again.
I think Ferrari is getting rid of the wrong driver for next year. |
I didn’t see a grid walk up here in Canada. Was it on or off because of the venue? The cameras that had in the RR was neat and fun to listen in on and watch.

You did not miss much. |
Ham had a good race, coulda shoulda. Poor quali ruined his weekend.

Sitting at the Vegas airport right now with a delayed flight home. What a race! Who could have predicted no flags, no crashes? Congrats to Russel and Hamilton and begrudgingly Max.
On to the next two races, constructors is heating up! |
Looks like GM/Cadillac are in!!! Does Michael get to become team principal? Interested to see how that develops.

Lets hope they do better than HAAS. |
The article I read they will run Ferrari engines just like Haas . Until Cadillac designs and builds their own .
|
As the smoke clears on this we will find out what the Andretti involvement will be moving forward . It makes sense that the Andretti Global facility in the UK will be used . They have been staffing it for a while now . They already have a chassis built that will be crash tested in December .
I think they have been using the Toyota wind tunnel to design their chassis . They were supposedly going to use the Alpine/Renault engine but that's now a Ferrari engine . Probably some changes needed to the chassis to accommodate the engine change . I hope this effort has success and can be a stepping stone for qualified American drivers to move up to F1 . I also hope they really promote being a US team . In my opinion Haas has not done much to promote being a US team . |
It would be interesting to learn just what if one were to go to Porsche with the engine specs for the 2025 series and find out what it would cost to design and build such an engine. I would have to imagine a Cadillac design and build would be similar price. It will be expensive either way.

Ford and GM are both as you say, diving in the deep end of the pool but with no arm bands and not enough swimming lessons
Really hope GM get an entry as a Ford vs GM battle, even if it's at the back half of the grid will be fun to watch My money is on Ford as they have a RBR advantage and predict GM will be fighting Audi for last honours for at least a couple of years |
Mario to be a director on the new team. Is Michael really that much of a $&@%# to have this happen??
