Heck no. That is from an commercial aircraft. Our photos never are shot out of a window. And we rarely fly that high. Most of our projects are flown from 3000 to 5000 feet.

Talk about late to the party....

Most companies are dropping their policies as it's hurting business. I'm all for everyone in the gene pool but I don't think we need policies to force it down our throat. I want the best pilot possible flying the plane not one that was put there due to policy...

It's official Mick Schumacher will leave Mercedes F1 team after this year . I assume that paves the way for Bottas to take over that role .

Yes it was. Right at the front of Max’s grid spot.

Audi sells a minority portion of their F1 team to Qatar investment.

Exciting race thanks to stewards indecision.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Even Jensen Button made a comment (before the sparks literally started flying) that you can't just leave that mirror there and for the rest of the race have a yellow flag at the end of the main straight, the best passing spot on the track.

These F1 race directors seem to really not have a feel for this racing stuff. It's like they've never seen these scenarios before.

Good thing Albons mirror fell off, cause it looked like the race was going nowhere.

I was falling asleep and cheering for KMag, so that mirror woke me up.

GH85Carrera 12-01-2024 09:57 AM

It was a HAAS mirror that fell off.

All those safety cars, and penalties sure shook up the field. Amazing for Lando to score any points after getting a 10 second stop and go penalty.

Bottas was 2nd in a line of three cars heading down the front stretch . To me it didn't look like he had a run on the car in front of him . But he pulled out and quite wide and hit the mirror . I thought that was a really odd sequence of events . Williams must be over the cost cap with their 16th wreck of the season :o . The freshness of Colapinto has worn off . I hope Ocon has better racing luck at Haas .

And what was up with Hamilton wanting to quit and park it ? Where's the heart of a champion ???? Pathetic if you ask me . Gasly drove a great race and how about Zhou getting the first points of the year for Sauber . Kmag snagged 2 points for Haas , quite the fight for 6th place in the championship .

It looks like Max and Red Bull have their mojo back , they have found a setup that works . Perez may be watching on TV next year he can't buy a break . Yuki/Liam didn't look that great either . Long season now onto the finale.

GH85Carrera 12-01-2024 11:01 AM

Colapinto was not at fault at all for this crash. He was taken out but the crash of others.

It is strange that Hamilton was ready to just quit after Brazil, came back and did good in Vegas, then had some problems of his own, and some bad luck withe the puncture, and was ready to cry and take his toys and go home. He was the very luckiest driver for so many years. His great luck ran out some at that last race.

Im pretty sure it was Albons right hand mirror that fell off. Perhaps 2 mirrors fell off.

Noah930 12-01-2024 11:12 AM

It was Albon's right side mirror. In one video, the debris can be seen departing his car, and in later in-car videos, you can see it missing from his car.

Bottas ran over it when he pulled out to the right, trying to get out of the way of the leaders, who were lapping him.

Ocon is done with Alpine per this article . Jack Doohan will run the entire weekend at Abu Dhabi .

Williams is borrowing parts to make it to the grid due to all the crashes this year .
