				Hideouts

The very definition. A secret place where someone can go when they do not want to be found by other people.

My last "hideout" is to go out for a drive, hike, or bike ride by myself...

I don't understand that thinking? Unless the mob or gov is after you for something big, why would people thinkor want to live like that? I have a friend's friend who's big on God and guns. That's all he ever talks about and wants to buy land somewhere in the middle of nowhere and wants me to build his an under ground bunker/hosue with all kinds of crazy siht in it of course, including an indoor shooting range.

So, stipulating that talking about a person’s relationship with God and guns is somehow not PARFy, I suggest that maybe the guy is concerned about self-preservation when the country goes BK. Crazy as it sounds.

Like Carrie's mom crazy. The dirty pillow lady. lol I love the little camper. Matthew Mcconaughey had (or has) three Airstreams. He must have liked the hideout functinality. I liked my 78 Westy. It gave me the same feeling as looking at OP's pic of the bunker.

From the ad: - Safest place on Earth - Armed security behind the gates - Medical facilities on site - Underground shelter - Private water supply - Largest inventory of firearms & ammunition in the region The price of entry is pretty steep, but it sounds like THE place to be when the chit hits the proverbial fan https://www.thepreserveri.com/

That first pic looks a lot like an Atlanta Airport underground tunnel, just one of many.

Good place to prep though. Mild year round. Plenty of wild game. Water is an issue and one will need a well.

Who as a kid didn't love a good hideout? I don't have a hideout, and I'm pretty unlikely to spend money on a hideout. I could see having a cabin in the woods that burned wood, had a well, etc... It would be a vacation getaway, but could probably be used as a hideout if needed. I've always wanted to explore abandoned places. I've always thought that it would be cool to have a hidden doors, passages, rooms. I've always thought that it would be cool to buy a house that had a cold war bomb shelter.
