LOL! I haven't watched, but I have an idea of the inspiration that you're talking about. Also a kick stand can be used to help maintain your balance...
OK, I've watched her video now. I agree, the "deep squat" is something that we should all be able to do, but I suspect it's pretty rare in the US for folks over 30.

This one may not be as motivational, but is also about training/improving your balance.

Yep, we've had one of those for many years.

Another “test” I have heard about and depending on my knee, I can do, is to sit on the floor and get up without using your hands.

You can start by trying in a chair and working down to lower height objects. I found that the difference between getting up while sitting on a book and from flat on the floor to be huge.

Yep, I've heard of that one too. Actually, I think the long haired guy in the video that I posted above may have that in one of his videos.

^^^ I just now tried that....it was easier to get up with no hands than to get down with no hands.

Will try again.

I have found this 1 step stool to be safer & easier to use than my other ones.

I have plenty of others...2 step, 3 step, etc.

But this one is the one I use the most. I like it because I'm not very high off the floor.

And it's very easy to step off in any direction, if desired.

I'm finding I have less patience for stupid people, and I let them know it.

My father-in-law, in his later years, had no filter what so ever. His sons related some very colorful and inappropriate things that would come out of his mouth when they were out to eat.
I haven’t lost my filter but my patience for wrenching, various small repairs and projects is way less. However, since I’m not an any strict timelines I take everything step by step with lots of time-outs. I used to go start to finish in one go. Not any more.
