Classic.OJU:D..my first thought as well.

Seriously, this is Lambo lady's problem. tear down block wall

David 02-15-2024 01:33 PM

I'd take down the little fence after a long conversation with Lambo driver about what was she thinking! Of course she'll be walking on the neighbor's property to get out of her car so she'll need to do something to keep the peace. Why doesn't she park inside the gate?

I increased my driveway right up to the property line like the Lambo driver's house so I could fit 2 cars side by side but if my neighbor put up a fence on the property line, I'd be screwed. But I did all this understanding what would happen.

Oh hell no ..... sorry ;)

It's solely Lambo Lady's problem, and she's got the way and means to easily fix it without asking for the absurd.

Can't believe she even asked.... that conversation with me would have been rather short :D

Maybe if it's in Toledo or Adams county.

put a lift kit on the lambo so the doors clear the wall.

lol.......

Tell Lambo lady to buy a motorcycle :D

GH85Carrera 02-15-2024 02:56 PM

Just the Lambo lady issue. Get a car that fits in the garage. Problem solved. Or fix her own driveway to accommodate her overgrown vehicle. Move the brick wall back and widen the driveway to fit on her own property.

Good fences make for good neighbors, unless one is an entitled narcissist. They will never be a good neighbor. Never.

That has been my thought (with the same Robert Frost reference) as well.

MAS956 02-15-2024 04:03 PM

Sell the Lambo and buy a proper house?

LEAKYSEALS951 02-15-2024 04:29 PM

One neighbor has a fence.
One neighbor has a thin driveway and no room to open a car door.

but... Who's this weirdo neighbor taking pics from across the street? :D

I kid, I kid... The erect tree in the far background needs to be cut. It's the perverted travesty!

Good luck in your endeavors. :D

If you want a real answer- I'd say for the "nice" neighbor to research backset laws on any fences before making statements to Lambo lady to make sure "Nice neighbor" doesn't violate any setback/hoa/whatever color the fence needs to be issues before stating "go fish" to Lambo lady.

Something says Lambo lady will exploit any red tape into ****e really quick if she ain't happy.

Good luck.

+930 on Lambo lady taking her own wall down.

I’ll have to Google what a Lambo Urus looks like.

908/930 02-15-2024 05:36 PM

If she does not want the lift kit, tell the lady with the Lambo I will help her out, will trade my e28 BMW for the Lambo and a couple hundred. The e28 is 12" narrower that should fix the problem. That lambo is 79.5" wide my 2500HD is 80"

OMG Yes.

Good chuckle.

Even from across the ocean one can see that Lambo house driveway is too narrow.
It is all on the wall house owner to fix that. One has a right to fence one's property (within local rules).
Removing the fence is akin to giving up the use of that part of the garden

Zeke 02-16-2024 11:58 AM

A strategic placement of the gate along that block wall would likely provide enough room to open the door. I think a 42" gate would allow for the door to open at least the thickness of the wall more than now. Parked just right and Lambo Lady would not even have to walk around the door to open the gate. And, she has a path directly to her front door.

When she does this, she can send my consulting fee via my website. :D

Is that a garage building behind the dark wall - or is that the house on the next street? If that's a garage - why isn't she using it?

I'd like to know what the ground elevation is behind the wall next to the driveway.
I'd bet it's level with the driveway itself, but it might be back filled against the wall.
That flipper didn't do anyone any favors putting that wall in. It's a nice canvas for taggers.

bleucamaro 02-16-2024 01:52 PM

In this case, the lambo lady has some audacity to ask for the fence to be moved.

However in general, it sounds like a lot of pre-judgement was done against her. It sounds like she bought a house that had some shoddy work done by flippers. (I've seen some real bad stuff done by them: Light fixtures installed without boxes, outlets without boxes, unsecured plumbing, etc.) It seems like you don't like her because she's trying to fix up her house and because she drives a flashy car?

When the work was being done, did you try to get to know her?
