I hab a code

First one in 4 or 5 years. I used to get a cold every winter.
I can’t take antihistamines so I basically have to blow my nose a lot and wait it out. My comfort go-tos are the cozy quilt we made, Campbell’s tomato soup made with water with, added garlic powder and Italian seasoning, peanut butter sandwiches, and carbonated drinks.

Edit:
I just remembered. Vick’s Vapo-Rub under my nose.

I've been surprisingly lucky for the last couple of years which is especially surprising since we see the grandkids fairly frequently, and they're sick a lot.

Good luck and heal up quick!

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was the flu at first but it was just a chest cold. 3 days to get it 3 days to have (with one day of real misery) it and 3 more days to put it in the rearview. Just like always.

Yeah, if the covid lockdown was good for something, it was nice having a couple of years of not having a cold or the flu.

Zicam - or any generic Zinc lozenge/chewable tablet.
They work wonders on reducing symptoms and duration of colds!

We both had colds around the week before X-Mas to the first week in January. We had to cancel our holiday plans.
Last Thursday I woke up to a scratchy throat that turned into a cold. Like you lots of water, gatorade, and chicken soup. Hopefully I'll be over it by Friday.

I had the flu around Christmas and got over that. Last week I was experiencing sinus pressure and congestion, wife thought I was getting sick and gave me a covid test which was negative. I dealt with this stuff all last week and Theraflu severe cold, the packets you add to hot water and drink like a tea, are what helped me out the most. I still have sinus stuffiness today and still sound all nasally, if that's even a word, this junk just won't go away. I know a few people at work who are now having some of the same issues, something must be going around. I don't usually get colds but will have sinus issues from time to time but nothing like this junk.
Good luck to y'all who are having the same issues, hope y'all feel better soon, spring pollen is on the way. Lol.

Two weeks ago my wife felt terrible, and thought at first just a cold. She asked me to the her to urgent care clinic for a covid-flu-rsv test. Confirmed. she had RSV. She was miserable for two weeks. I had received a Pravanar 20 vaccination last back in July. and avoided intimate contact with her, but we slep in the same bed. I was fine. Thanks doc!

GNC Mega Men multi vitamin

I take a half dose and can't remember the last cold I've had.
If I take the suggested dose...I can only sleep 3-4 hrs a night.

Grocery store vitamins are a waste of money...imo.

I haven't had a cold in years. I can't remember when. I haven't had the flu, RSV or Covid either, both of which seem new to me. Colds have been around forever, I guess. We still wear masks at stores and wipe down everything we buy with anti germ wipes. I try not to shake hands and always reach for the underside of the left handle on double doors. I'll use my shirt tail on knobs and handles. Not too many knobs besides residential these days due to ADA requirements. I can open a lever with my knee if my arms are full. I carry wipes in all the cars.

If I want a cold all I have to do is get wet in the cold and not get warm and dry soon enough. I learned to not do that ever.

We visited the grandkids a couple weeks ago. Had our granddaughters here for a short week. Took them back home. Came home sick. The twins had runny noses when we picked up their sister. She had a cough that didn't sound good to me but I'm not her parent.
I blew four kleenexes worth of bright yellow snot out of my nose this morning so I know I'm getting close to licking it. It'll be 10 days this weekend, that should do it if I don't over do it between now and then.
My weight loss since the heart deal has made it hard for me to keep warm. I'm under 170 now and should feel great once I get rid of this cold.

I thought I was just about over this junk and then last night I woke up a few times with really severe painful sinus pressure behind my right eye. I would get up blow my nose and all would be good until about an hour later, more pressure, blow my nose, relief ...that went on a while, rinse and repeat. Took a sinus pressure and congestion pill before heading to work and have more in case I need them. Man I am tired of this junk. We have some thunderstorms heading this way so I contribute that to the pressure issues. It is currently 75 degrees here and we have a low of 36 degrees tonight. Uhg, mother nature needs to chill out.

You might want to rephrase that.
