I bought another race car… and it’s a Porsche… and my wife is mad…
I took a 2 minute break from work this afternoon to have a look on Facebook marketplace. Normally I look at guitars. There was a nice orange Telecaster… but there was this little yellow 914 that looked too good to be true.
I texted the guy, he sent me an address. It was for a construction contractor… must be a scam… I asked him about that and he said it’s in the shop. When my son got home from school we jumped in the truck to go have a look. The car was real. In really nice shape. It’s 98% race ready. I sent him an e-transfer for a deposit and we pick it up tomorrow morning. So now what to do with it… vintage? Endurance (it’s probably too good for that) or put it on BAT?

As you no doubt know, race cars don't do well on BAT. It sounds like you got a good enough deal that you'll get your money back though.
I need to sell a converted 914-6 GT Tribute I bought to race and then had to retire for medical reasons. I've contemplated putting some work in to get it more street friendly. I have most of the parts I need, but also have other projects that need my time. I may try to sell it as is and see if I can get most of my money back. BAT is a possibility. Pics, we need pics and details.

 Renn Shift shifter and Prototipo wheel… Based on the tech stickers, it looks like he did one race weekend with it in 2015 and spun and it has been parked since.
