Thanks. I did not see a listing for a Sanden, that’s a brand, right? I’m waiting for my parts guy to get back to me, he has the same car and upgraded everything…says the A/C works great. I might take a big summer trip with this car and it will be essential, both temperature wise and reliability wise.

Von, that’s a slick setup, where did you get the mount and new hoses? Did you need to have them made?
I’ve had pretty good luck with the OEM style compressor if it’s good or new, it’s also a radial design. The really old cars, (‘70s?), had the huge York piston compressor which was very inefficient. They worked but pulled a lot of power from the engine. |
