I was especially surprised when I realized that the cars were not traveling in slots like a slot car normally would. There is no pin that locates them. I assume they are guided by magnets.

I watched the video and thought "impossible, this is just video footage from Monaco GP processed to look model-ish" then WOW it really is all in miniature! For the right person, that place would be the dream job.

When I was a little boy the kid next door was telling me about the "Grand Pricks" of Monaco. Probably more correct than he knew at the time.
