Had me in tears- Instructional vid on removing watch bracelet pins

Nevermind that you may not care how to size a watch bracelet, just give this vid a few minutes.

NSFW. be careful with the sound if you have youngsters or karens nearby.

Gosh watching some more on this guy and it's actually a pretty sad looking situation.

Nonetheless i was legitimately looking for info on taking out links and am prepared to fall asleep with this video then 30 seconds in he starts dropping bombs. What a mess!

Take out the F-bombs and the video would be about 40 seconds long. Too funny.

A person with an Omega watch is a person of high birth, a nobleman. Someone who really gets the job done.
With the language involved, I presume the owner is Laszlo Cravensworth.

Archie Luxury is an odd dude, this video is more pg than many of his.

Been years since I watched any of his content, but not sure if he is really off or it is part of his character. He has been doing watch content forever though.

Watched a bit more of him and i suspect some real struggles behind the smile.

I did end up watching quite a bit of a video with that Teddy Baldesare (sp?) guy interviewing him. There does appear to be an honesty about him that is endearing and his discussion on new hobbyists getting sucked in by poor value brands that cost more than cheap watches but less than expensive watches could probably be transferred to just about any 'stuff' hobby. In the same interview he talks about first world vs third world problems and winning the lottery of life being born white male. Pretty dead on and hilarious at the same time.

I was today years old when I learned about the arrows on the watchband

I've owned this Seiko Tidemaster for about 40 years

And I've owned this Krieger for about 25 years

They both fit well, and I hardly ever wear them anymore, the bracelets on both have the little arrows

As noted, knowing the proper tool to use and actually having it and using it makes all the difference in the world.

That guy will be tired when he dies, from fighting everything and everybody, for his whole life.

Anyway, I used to own a bunch of Omegas, one of which was a titanium Seamaster which I purchased new. The bracelet came apart one day while wearing it, apropos of nothing, so I gave it to the local dealer to fix. He needed to order parts from Omega USA, which is when I first learned of the dreaded pins and tubes that Omega uses.

IT TOOK A FULL 6 MONTHS TO GET THE PARTS FROM OMEGA, in spite of me harassing the dealer periodically to, in turn, harass Omega USA.

Loved the watch, hated the bracelet design and Omega USA, which lead to me selling all of the Omegas....

LOL! Tabby wrote of once owning a Rolex and selling it because it wasn't accurate. If I recall, he switched to quartz.

Was it a Rolex quartz watch?

Or did he go dumpster diving at the thrift stores?
