Really? No one wants to put their opinion in? I know there are disappointed Pens fans out there but surely you love the game even if Sid isn't playing.

Much as I hate to say it, the Dallas 'Rats' could win their 2nd cup although --- Hull won't be there to have his skate in the crease to help!

I predict no upsets in the first round, other than Colorado and maybe the Lightning.

Maybe a tad early, but the Leafs had better start to work on their 'back-up' plan if they have any hope of success against Da Broons!

I did enjoy having Maroon the goon on our side last night. That's Big Bad Bruin hockey.
To make Brian happy (no other reason  ) here's Sid crying because he didn't get to come to the dance this year (in fairness, I haven't read anything about him crying but I normally don't read news about the Pens and their leader) I'm sure I'll get some retaliatory comment about my captain like "oh yeah, well Marchand..."

Tough call this year. The Toronto Bay Leaves will not be hoisting the Cup. IMO the Rangers or the Panthers in the East, in the West I have no idea. Would be nice to see a Canadian team bring the cup back home.

hockey is dead in the lower 24 or 30 of 48... the yotes are leaving the desert, the sharks suck in a great market, the LA teams are meh.... Hockey had a chance at one or two points over the last 20 years, but it's now back to a niche thing. you do realize the NFL draft is this Thursday and it will crush the hockey ratings 10 fold.
how about a photo of you in youth hockey? the baby bruins winger perhaps?

Every year I try to reproduce the bracket template and fail. So...
Eastern Conference First round Lightning over Panthers in 5 Boston Bruins over Toronto (duh) in 6 Rangers over Caps in 5 Hurricanes over Islanders in 6 Second round Lightning over Bruins in a bloody 7 Hurricanes over Rangers in 7 Eastern Conference Final Canes finally get a shot at the Cup beating the Lightning in 7 The West Stars over the Knights in 6 Avalanche over the Jets in 6 Canucks over Predators in 7 Oilers over Kings in 5 Second round Stars over Avalanche in 6 Oilers over Canucks in 5 Conference final Stars over Oilers in 7 The Cup Canes over the Stars in 7

As a long time suffering Leafs fan, here is how I give my allegiance during the playoffs.
First Leafs until they are out (which is all to often the first round). Then the Kings as I have been living in LA for the last 40 years. After they are gone any remaining Canadian team. Then after they are eliminated any original six. After they are all gone I don't care and stop watching. I think I might have a chance to see the finals this year, but alas not with my beloved Leafs
