Anybody ever driven across the country for a White Castle?
We don't have them in my area, so if I had a hankerin for one or a dozen, I guess I'd be making a road trip.

I've never had White Castle, In n Out, or Red Robin.

Made sure to visit White Castle when we were in NYC years back. Thanks to the Beasties. Also made a point of visiting a Fatburger when i was....way out west.

There are just a nearly infinite number of burger places with great burgers. White Castle is way down on my list.
One of many places I just ignore and get a better burger somewhere else.

I've eaten at White Castle once. It tasted EXACTLY like a microwaved White Castle you can buy in the frozen section of a grocery store.

I’ve never had a White Castle, but I used to eat Krystal every so often, when we went to Georgia. We don’t have them in South Carolina.

I have one literally 5 blocks away and that’s about my limit for driving to one! They’re okay every once and awhile.
I will say that their breakfast sandwiches are awesome- they use real eggs cracked when they make your sandwich.

I would do a road trip for White Castle. Krystals as well. Neither where I live. I am always in for a road trip and sliders. I would even do a road trip for In and Out (although their burgers are not sliders).
Have done the road trip for the white castle in the photo above (Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau) several times. It was the wurst (and der wienerschnitzel).
