In this case, it's about what will be done to other people next.
Someone has to take the time and effort to put the brakes on the crazy train.

Yeah, this MFer is doing this stuff to little old ladies. Everyone else he has done this to has been too fearful of the guy to do anything. I get what you are saying B. It is pretty out of character for the wife to open the door for someone unexpected. This was a guy she had been calling for a month and seemed normal the first time she saw him.

She is back to the Airweight S&W in her hand or back pocket, prepared to defend herself. I hope the guy does not come around, or she might just solve the problem for everyone. I thought about the civil suit, probably not. He is going to be busy enough talking to lawyers and accountants

This guys' mistake cost him his life.

What was his mistake?

When the disagreement started..........he sent his family home and remained behind to "defuse" the situation.

Whatever his version of "diffuse" was......he should have gone home with his family and not remained behind.

The best way to diffuse a situation?

Put as much space between you and the other party as possible!

When does this not happen?

When one's ego exceeds one's common sense.

Neighbors. One fires through her front door when the other ones shows up to talk.

People don't understand conflict resolution any more.......so they decide..."Let's just shoot at/kill 'em and make the problem go away....."

No thanks.......

I am pretty sure Toby is talking about going after the guy by legal methods, aka, having the police and courts go after him.

Yes, he has legal issues he will be dealing with, like trying to keep his contractor's license from getting revoked and trying to find an accountant smart enough to save him from the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, you guys not in California only think the IRS is the worst tax outfit.

As Bazza suggests, this is a chicken hsit bully that has a history of seeking retribution when people stand up to him, particularly if it is a woman, because bullies like weak targets. He is the type of guy will throw poisoned meat in my backyard to try and kill the dog, or come amd cut the citrus trees down that are in the front yard, or try to jump one us going into the store. We know that going in and will be vigilant.

I hope he does not try anything. That would probably get my sister in the game. God help the dumb SOB if that happens. Actually, it is might be too late for that, I know they talked about it already. She is a retired engineer, always looking for a project. Dumb cluck is already fooked

I had (have?) several buddies who were ex-military, ex special forces guys, one or more who would have jumped on this just because he hit your wife. God help the guy if they decided to get involved. Tree guy would have simply disappeared one day. No witnesses, no evidence, no trace. Whether or not he deserves a fate like that, IDK. But if he continues as he is doing he will eventually piss off the wrong guy.

These were scary guys when they wanted to be. I guess serving in Afghanistan, fighting the Taliban in Kandahar and in the Korangal valley made them that way.

I was told a story about a village there were young boys could be heard screaming out at times. Turns out one of the "customs" is for the men to rape the young boys. It is very common there and not thought of as deviant. Prior to the Taliban reestablishing control over the country, these young boys were bought and sold as sex slaves even. The US Military even forbade any retribution to the Villagers for doing this. Suffice to say after hearing this night after night in one village there in the valley there are now several less Afghan men raping these young boys. Military guidelines be damned I heard one of them say.

I guess sometimes you just have to do what's right.

Okay, it is on like Donkey Kong, filed all the stuff, restraining order in process.

I wonder how long it will take this MFer to show up at the house. Guess it depends how long it takes the Dept of Consumer Affairs to show up about the complaint against the business license or the Sheriff to send some guys to go talk to him. Would not be a bit surprised if he drives his dumb ass straight to the house when the Sheriff leaves.

Misdemeanor Battery because he did not hurt her much. If she did not have any experience boxing, he would have knocked her down and fractured her skull. I am quite certain he will be back.

This is a terrible story. How did you find this wonderful business in the first place? Did they solicit by knocking on your door? Did they give the lowest bid among several?

Just be careful man….there are a lot of crazy MF’rs in this world, and it sounds like you snagged one.

It gets more interesting.

Apparently Aaron Sturgeon has a business license # 1114482 as a tree trimmer. The invoice she snatched out of his hand said ROD'S TREE SERVICE at the top, with his name and license number under it.

ROD'S TREE SERVICE , license #679609 is owned by some dick named Rodney Guy Mc Caleb

When the contractor's board contacted him about it, he claimed he was the one that went out to collect the money, which does not match up with the phone numbers.

Hearing on September 20 in the after noon
