So no suggestions on other stuff I should buy from our host? That was the primary reason for starting this thread.

Maybe buy more than one so next time you don’t need to do another order?

How about a set of nuts, washers and gaskets for your next valve adjustment?

When was the last time you did shift rod bushings, maybe buy those?

Spark plugs?

Light bulbs?

Any special tools you need?

Fuel filter or air filter?

A fee years ago I bought about 8 oil filters from our host because I was cheap and wanted to get free shipping. I was actually a bit embarrassed. Then Mahle switched from being made in Austria to China, so I've been happily whittling away at my stash.

Odds and ends: Those little white plastic clips that fit into the sunroof? The little plastic rods that actuate the power doorlocks? Shift rod bushings? Steering wheel bushing? Those things always crumble with time.

Good suggestions. Maybe stock up on filters before they start making Mann out of chinesium

Someone installed a sump cover with no drain plug on my car. This makes oil changes more difficult. I am going to buy a new sump cover. Oil changes are one of a handful of things I can still do on my car. Good thing at today's shop rates.

Ha, like I drive it in the rain

They have numerous options for valve cover gasket kits, is one better than the other

Just double up the order for the next time.

To me those valves are the equivalent of using and adjustable wrench to get the drain plug out. It works until it doesn't.
