I was going to say the Buick from Randy Newman's "I Love LA" video, but it doesn't look very modified, and it's not longer than a Cybertruck.

that would be a hell of a thing! That makes some sense. I get the feeling that it's a while custom vehicle from TV/Movies, and not many of them are likely to be longer than a cybertruck. And the Ghostbusters vehicle doesn't seem to be "LA" enough.

This was going to be my guess, but I ruled it out due to no knock offs. I think the MM is just 5 lug chrome Cragar wheels.

It's not a movie car or anything like that.

Another clue - I've had several cars on display in the Petersen museum, and I just emailed the director asking if they needed this one for an exhibit.

Although I think this one might be too "tame" for the exhibit.

How cool is that? So opposite of the 962, the tank, the solar car, the Probe 16, etc.

I've had one on my list for a long time. I was out at Luft two weeks ago, and me and Dean were walking around Hollywood Blvd and saw them and I said, "I've had this on my list for a long time but I haven't ever found a 'tasteful' one. Well, this one came up on Bring A Trailer, and, as most people would guess, didn't meet reserve (this would be a difficult car to sell on there). So, I made a deal with the owner post-auction.

I never would have guessed that, not ever.

Are Dayton 120's K/O's?

Awesome! I love it. I know a lot of folks like the '62-64 models, but I think the '59-60 models are far, far better looking.

You don't choose slam life.

Slam life chooses you.

Cool car!

My dad had an early 60s Chevy impala that I wanted to hot rod. Unbeknownst to us, he wanted to get rid of it and took it to the junkyard and gave it to them! 😂🤬

I was thinking something like the Cadzilla from Boyd Coddington but the knockoff wheels was the big question mark. I guess I should have posted my guess since not too far off. Congrats!

Very cool.

I might make the fake porthole things on the real wheel skirts go bye bye unless they are functional. It is a bit visually distracting.

Hmmm. I'll have to remember this one when I'm thinking of my kids and stuff they may want to do.

It is extremely cool. So much better than many of the low riders that I have seen.
Does it have hydraulics? Is it a bouncer or just tame up/down stuff? (I don't know much about that scene other than what I've seen in movies).
What's the interior like or when are you and Sandy going to make a video? It seems like that project has withered on the vine. Nothing new in months.

Holy moly! That's horrible! But then lots of old stuff experiences the same thing, whether it's because the original owner thinks it's junk so possible future owners didn't get a stab at it, or because the original owner thinks it's awesome and then passes away and the future owners think it's junk.
