I THINK they are fake. I think we all know of the guy that made the various "glitter bombs" that didn't explode, but flung glitter and fart spray and included audio, video, etc....
As many of those new colored powder videos that have popped up, and considering how explosive some of them seem to be, I think they are AI generated. I also suspect they are illegal.

I wish they were real. But I think if they were real, people would be getting sued. Hopefully it at least makes potential porch pirates think twice!

Yea, they have to be AI. One showed a large trap door the thief feel into. Yea, not gonna happen.
Some of the others would have caused real injury, and arrests of the home owner. However, I like them, and I hope a few of the thiefs think they are real and stop their stealing. We are lucky, and we have never had a package stolen. Our front porch is had to see unless you cruise into our dead end street neighborhood.

They're all fake. Did you see the ones with the dogs? Blasting through windows, doors, one of the dogs was as big as the thief.

The Mark Rober ones are real, he started this with his glitter bombs and fart cans. Good fun videos...Lately 1/2 of the vids out there are AI fakes though... Plausible deniability for all !!!

There are also a lot of videos that may be real but are completely staged. I guess they get paid by the views so some people's jobs are to look for trouble and film it... Seen a guy with his dog fending off attackers of helping other people, no way the same guy has this run of bad luck. We've become a society of short video makers/consumers... with the attention span to match. Even my youngest kid doesn't enjoy going to movies, "too long" - sigh. Tik tok gen.
