Special glassware is nice...
I agree with the food thing, perishables are difficult if apart-I tend to do tinned stuff or crazy good chocolate.
My Philly friends can always send me cheesesteak rolls-they're local, like NY bagels. No bueno elsewhere.

Not exactly on topic but I offered to come read to my buddy who is terminal. He liked that.
