New Year's Day get together So Cal

Rumor has it that all sorts of sports car enthusiasts will be meeting at Starbucks/Vons parking lot on Jan 1st. just off the 14 Sand Canyon exit at 7:30

Perhaps some of them will take a tour of some great roads in the area to end up in Montrose for lunch

Interesting. . . sounds like a bunch of ruffians . . .

I wonder if the route this gang will be taking is available so we can all steer clear (or follow the antics) of these motorists.

If I were close enough, I’d bring a few cigars

Definitely sounds more fun than a typical sponsored "Cars & Coffee".

The route will be Angeles Forest and Angeles Crest Highway, plus maybe some of the other canyons in the forest. Little Tujuna, Lopez, etc. The same roads where all of the crashes that people like to armchair QB on this forum occur.

Very scenic and great roads, though. 7:30 am is way too early for me on New Years Day to be up there and I don't even drink! Have fun and be safe.

For those that have been on these drives, not to worry. They are what you make them, all my experiences were a great time. A very good bunch of folks. I used to attend, until I left the area. Have fun guys!
