Lotus Esprit S3, Tyrrell's Classic Workshop
I have always loved the look of these cars ever since The Spy Who Loved Me. The later Esprits got a bit larger and rounded off edges. I prefer the knife edged wedge design.
Fun fact, I didn't know that the rear spoiler was known as the "Gurney flap". https://youtu.be/DiuRK5KIuMA?si=Dg_8IdRBEyHL5pcY Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

Loved that. Back in 88 when I was 16, I worked at a marina pumping gas and looking after our customers and a guy who kept his boat there drove a new red/tan one that he parked in front of the office door and tasked me with keeping an eye on it while he was on the water. I would stare at it all day, especially that shift lever and knob. Drool. There were many Porsches and Corvettes around the neighborhood but I had never seen anything like the Lotus and have seen only one or two in the flesh since in all these years. Always wanted one

A college buddy has a story about absolutely ripping up and down the hills of Seattle in an Esprit of this vintage. He claims to have caught air.

Of course I love the James Bond scenes with the Lotus but I really love the opening scene in Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts driving the Esprit.
