Anyone Going to the NAMM music Show?
The NAMM show is the largest music industry show in NA. Like SEMA, but for Music.
https://www.namm.org/thenammshow/registration?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj9m7BhD1ARIsANsIIvBkYMgFuyR_oAJnWLfq 0N31LlwuGmA9tIRYqeabSPhYwJhtuBxtWHcaAlmKEALw_wcB Anyways, if you can make it, Stop by the Prestige Guitars Booth, one of my guitars will be there on display. It is Porsche themed and I am sure it will resonate with you. You will know it when you see it. Say "HI" to Mike from Prestige, he will be happy tell you about their brand and the story behind the guitar.

I went to NAMM 6 times in Anaheim and twice in Nashville. Times have been tough for a few years now with even the big guys getting hit. A Two highlights were seeing Stevie Wonder walk through and my son getting to jam with Thundercat. Maybe after the show, you can post some pics of your guitar and the story behind it.

It's not worth it now. So small, many companies aren't going theese days.
I've been a NAMM member since 2004. When it gets to be more normal again, I'll start going again.

I last went in 2019. I was planning to ride my bike out for the 2020 show, had tix to see Eric Johnson at the Grove, but Covid so kicked my ass, I had to give the tickets away. I was patient zero for Covid, had just come back from China. I haven't been since and, other than the evening jams, which are always amazing, I've had my fill.

In my 20s I was highly active in the LA music scene and went to NAMM every year as part of a music store I was affiliated with. Probably 1978-1984. It was always super fun to see the latest and greatest stuff with A List artists wandering around and performing. I remember chatting with Steve Perry of Journey while waiting to enter a live music performance and his hot girlfriend looked really bored.
Good times!

I remember watching Ted Nugent snort coke of a bathroom sink before a NAMM performance in 2010. Drug free my arse.
