Got my facts mixed up, there was a lawsuit won by a group of doctors that sued the FDA over their treatment of Ivermectin during CV and won. But it was not in fact added to recommended treatments. Which still doesn’t change the fact that Ivermectin is an approved drug for human consumption that has been prescribed to millions of people and its inventor won a Nobel prize, and has been used by many doctors to effectively treat CV19. If it was exclusive to Pfizer I’m sure the story would be different.

So the originator of this thread decided to include the word "nano-plastics" in the title. Then posted a photo of something that is clearly macro ... not micro or nano. You could never photograph a nano-particle with your phone. The concern with nano-particles is that they can cross the blood-brain barrier.

The rest of the discussion is amusing at best ... even if you don't realize how science works ... or if/how is applicable here ... I wish you my best, because in the end, your opinion, religion, etc. means nothing.

I believe I acknowledged that what I saw was not “nano”, which would require a microscope to see. The article I posted was relative to nano-particles. This thread is full of condescending people who don’t actually contribute anything and probably work retail lecturing about science.

Would be rather difficult to run SEM or TEM on the OP’s water bottle. There’s easier and cheaper methods to measure particle size.


My experience with running an electron microscope, if you have microsize particles from some sort of degradation, there’s nano sized when you zoom in.

I do know that when I used to drink beverages that canned tasted wrong, plastic ok, and glass the best.

As for the FDA, they approve Sucralose for consumption.

Well, then hydrogenated seed oil that was used for machinery, then livestock feed and now to human consumption.. but there’s a lot of questionable chem in food… and more interesting is that fact that it’s very difficult to find good clean foodstuff at the grocery stores…

I have also gone down this rabbit hole, but maybe not quite as far.;) We have cut out any foods that have chemicals, artificial ingredients, bioengineered ingredients, etc. When I look at a package of bacon it shouldn’t have ingredients I can’t pronounce, it should have bacon and salt. We’ve started shopping much more at farmers markets and small grocery stores that carry fresh local food. What you quickly learn is that typical mass produced grocery store food is CRAP and it makes you feel the same. A farm fresh egg vs a grocery store egg looks and tastes like something totally different. Grass fed beef from a local farm cooks and tastes differently than grocery store junk. Once you go down this road you can’t go back, because it’s obvious how horrible this stuff is for you. Another good data point is how many chemicals are in American food that are banned in other countries. It’s no wonder we are fighting a disease epidemic, we are being poisoned.

Thanks to this thread I was reminded to toss all my tupperwares (did you know lost dryer socks come back as ill-fitting tupperware lids?) - I bought a set of glass ones (plastic lid only) and did the same for water pitchers... Also tossed my plastic cutting boards a while back replaced with bamboo.. As for the rest I cook most of my food and nothing I buy comes in plastic so should be OK.

That leaves drinks.. I was hearing a scientist somewhere say that as soon as a plastic bottle is opened the inside starts to degrade, not great for water/juices etc... not sure it's reliable info though.
