About biker culture?

I saw my first knife strapped to a motorcycle last night. Now I'm curious if it signifies anything, or if it's simply 99%er flair? To me it seems like it's a good way to instigate a flight, but what do I know?

Looks to me that knife is for one thing and it's not for peeling apples.

Seems like a ratcheting knife to me. He looks like an SAE type of guy.

Billy Lane used to build his choppers with a metal ring below the gas tank that held a ball peen hammer. I looked up the reason for it. Its designed to mete out punishment.

I've seen plenty of choppers with a 5 foot braided leather whip clipped to the handlebars. I looked up the reason for it. Its also to mete out punishment.

The knife is a new one on me, but I don't imagine its used to spread peanut butter on an apple.

When he's pulled over the cops will approach with guns drawn. And knowing what happens when cops point their guns at people these days it not the smartest think to do.

And neither are assless chaps, but anyone who displays a weapon on their handlebar is likely to also sport the aforementioned garment.

Most are living out some sort of outlaw fantasy, playing dress up if you will.

There are real 1% ers still out there though, pagans, warlocks, mongols etc.

Just remember, if the chaps weren’t assless, they would be pants.

OK!
I saw the thing strapped to the handlebars and assumed it was a box end wrench so roadside repairs could be done.

ATGATT or stay home.

Best

Why would anyone keep a weapon out where anyone could grab it. That seems especially stupid.

Why would you have a knife in FL unless you are a felon. Everyone else is strapped.

Or if you were playing (unsuccessfully) at being a hoodlum/gangster.

My buddy's were playing a bar which drew a bunch of biker types ... not hard core tho'.... dance floor was full and a pistol falls unnoticed by the dude scuttle buttin'... another just calmly walked over and placed his boot over it.... no one missed a beat ... or dropped their beer...

And the band played on

In a Jax biker bar ... everybody except me is prolly carrying

Similar thing happened in a bar in S GA while a whole bunch of us were drinking.

Except because the guy was a douche we laughed as we watched him tear his car apart thinking he’d dropped it in there - then told him the next day.
