I have a soft spot for early to mid 60's GM floatmobiles and that big Pontiac definitely fits the bill.

Dad's buddy had a Bonneville that same color. Apparently it was just the ticket for a Scottsbluff to Linclon run

Sweet little E28; I'm pretty sure it's an M5, but the badges have been deleted so I'm not 100 percent sure.

Met the nicest guy ever getting gas this morning...he was having car issues with this:

Another guy and I waited for his wife to bring fuses and tools then we helped him get started...I really think the way I handed out the tools they needed as they did all the work was the difference maker.

If money was no object, I'd buy one to just to experience it, I do not think it would be a long term keeper for me though.
It doesn't matter, all in fun.

Gorgeous truck, I have a soft spot for Fords of that era. Looks like about a '48? Also looks like a resto mod with modern drivetrain but OG appearance on the outside. I'm an originality guy but they go clockity-clock with the old flathead engines. Sounds like you provided moral support, that can have value.

They are for me as well. I have all Oldsmobiles on alert on BaT, looking for the right barge from my youth. I had a '68 Delta 88 in the late '70s that was one of the best cheap MN. cars I ever owned. Man, what a cruiser those were with the huge pedals and the overall feeling of comfort and style...they were like a warm blanket.
