This is a cool wall in the lobby area of our hotel "Rolling Hills".

I think that's the one I had.

I gave up and removed it as it became almost impossible to navigate through the ads. Certainly impossible while you are driving. It started out OK then got worse.

Yeah, I only put it on my phone for the train ride, I don't plan on keeping it.

This is a van that Kia manufactured in the 80s called Bongo. We toured the Kia 360 showroom and Genesis showroom.

We were supposed to tour a palace, but due to the political unrest and protests near the palace, our group went to the DMZ. We are the only group to visit there so it was very special. We took the gondola across the river, and we could see parts of North Korea. It was amazing to be there.

We went shopping and had lunch at a Brazilian Barbecue restaurant that was awesome!!!
Tonight, more shopping at the mall which is located under the hotel and then get packed up to depart early in the morning. I have had a great time here. One week just hasn't been enough. The flight home will be a bit quicker, I assume.because of the jet stream? I just hope and pray that it isn't as miserable as the flight here. Lol. Hope y'all have enjoyed the pics. I made a bunch of videos and they are on YouTube, so you can go to the Hobiemarty YouTube channel, and you can see videos, or I can post links here.

I was uploading videos to YouTube but reached my daily limit. They are in a que so, hopefully they will upload after midnight here. I've got a really long one that has our guide, Carroll, explaining about the DMZ, and she explains things very well. She was our guide this week, and it was pure joy listening to her tell us about the history of South Korea and pointing out things as we traveled around. Carroll was awesome and I will miss her and I can not say enough about our bus driver, that man has mad skills for sure!!!
This has been an experience of a lifetime, most definitely!!!

The Bullet train coming thru the station while another was departing was esp impressive.

Thanks. Korea is a country I know almost nothing about so it's fun to be part of the adventure via your photos.

I Kiwi guy I know who lived in Japan for many years and talks like a local Japanese person moved to Korea and said he didn't think he could ever learn to speak the language. One of those "Need to be born there." type languages I guess.

Thanks, y'all. The videos are all uploaded now, so y'all can check them out. I especially enjoy the one of Carroll explaining things at the DMZ. It is about 11 minutes long.

It was a great experience. We departed Korea on Saturday morning, March 29th, and arrived in Atlanta on Saturday morning, March 29th!!! We flew from daylight to darkness, back to daylight, all in the same flight. The flight home was a little faster and was only 12 to 13 hours as opposed to 15 hours, lol. I took a sleeping pill and slept about 4 hours early in the flight. Man, I am really feeling the jet lag. This afternoon, I just shut down and had to take a nap, a short nap, but it helped me feel better. Now, as I write this, I am struggling to keep awake. Hopefully, I will be back on track in a few days.
