Wow, crazy stuff. It really poured at work last night also. We had sideways rain, wind, and lots of lightning. It must've really stormed here at home as well because a limb fell on some of our outdoor lights, causing them to hang low to the ground. Thanks mother nature for giving me more work to do around here.

We were happy we just got the very edge of it and .28 inches of rain with no hail. It is raining yet again. I hope your property is above the high waters.

Just be happy you did not get the 5.25 inch hail Texas got the other day.

Everything is bigger in Texas!

Wow, that's bad! Hope everyone makes it our safely.

It's raining in LA this morning. Feel a little bad for the Air|Water event going on in Costa Mesa. I'm. Ot going, but still wish it was better weather for such a big deal car show. I took the turbo out to run an errand. It's a fine line between fun and scary between turbo boost, turbo lag, and wet pavement.

Rained like crazy last night here in north Georgia . Plenty of thunder and lightning . My wife said she thought she heard hail hitting our metal roof but it was small .

Nice to see we can always count on some dip$hits to drive thru deep water 😒

There's been some crazy weather in the last couple of months. Crazy seems to be the new normal.

Having "hail drifts" is crazy. Having huge hail is also crazy. I think the biggest hail that I've ever seen was the size of a nickel, maybe one or two the size of a quarter. I've never seen hail that amounted to something that you could measure.

It is still raining here, and we have had 1.25 inches of rain just this morning. 7.7 inches for the month. We are on the top of a hill, so the river in the yard is flowing to the street. No flooding here.

The drought is over!

Still having light rain. I live in the area between the 4.2 and 4.11 readings. Most of the rain happened between 6 am and 8 am.

I'm jealous. I want to hook up with some storm chasers to see what real storms look like.

There are dozens of storm chaser vacation companies. Tourist from all over the world come to ride in a van or large SUV and go out chasing storms and tornadoes. It is a real issue with the professionals that are reporting to the TV stations. The tourist and amateurs get in the way and cause traffic jams in the middle of nowhere.

And yes, tourist from all over the world, and the USA come to see a thunderstorm.

Yes, that is me watching this little F1 tornado that was just a mile and half south of us. The man across the street was filming it with a video camera from the early 90s, so the resolution is pretty poor. It tore the roof off of one house, and tossed around a few cars at an amusement park. I could not hear anything from it at all.

My wife was in our bathtub, wearing my racing helmet, with two dachshunds in there with her. I wanted to take her picture but she threatened bodily harm if I did. We put in a storm shelter soon after that.

Wow, more rain!

We are already breaking the record for rain in April, and it is still coming down! 12.5 inches for the month now, and climbing. As least no lumpy hunks of ice falling here. The lakes are all at capacity, and the flood gates are open. There are boater warning out on several lakes for floating logs and debris from the inflow.

Lawton and all areas south of me is in deep doo doo.

10" of rain since Saturday. Impossibly to drive around town. The road into my neighborhood is goings to under. I hauled arse and am sitting in a hotel room. My place shouldn't flood though a dozen or so houses south of my willbget 3 or 4 ft of water into them.

One more round of rain this evening.

In "Money Pit" Tom Hanks said "we have weak trees". In LA we have weak storms. Well, barring the recent Santa Ana.
