No, but the computers have their own 'dirty talk' they use with the other trucks computers online.

So, the weymo cars run people over and keep driving as if nothing happened. They go down wrong ways and other serious traffic violations that are essentially given a nod to.
Now they throw them in class 8’s… seems like the corporations are in bed with the regulators and our safety is of little concern…. But wait. They want all new cars to have the fully autonomous features and old cars to be banned… this seems like a major step towards limiting older vehicles.

I'm not sure the autonomous rigs can be any worse than some of the morons driving them out there today. The big rigs have gotten to be as bad as the 4 wheelers out there. Weaving in and out of traffic, riding the bumper of the car in front of them, drivers clearly texting while driving or being distracted by a screen in the rig. My wife asked me why I always speed up when passing a semi on the highway. I pointed to one that wasn't keeping their lane and said "that's why".

About a week ago, the company and the Texas govt back-pedaled on the driveless autonomous trucks in Texas. THey both said that they are putting people back in the driver's seat as a monitor/backup to the autonomous system.

Every time I think about truck AV tech, I think about this:
