The Carrera SSI's will be the thick flange type.
The SC's will most likely be thin flange. The PET shows the same heat exchanger part #'s for '78-'83. -Chris |
My exhaust system and stud lengths are "thick flange." On an '83 SC. So, the thin flange early exhaust can work fine, but thick washers may be needed under the nuts.
I wouldn't want to try using thin anything on those bumpers, however. |

I dunno...seems to me that with those aftermarket headers, she probably rides pretty rough.
