Sweet car, good luck with the BaT peanut gallery but it's worth it in the end if you answer all the (sometimes silly) questions! I imagine most of the Q will be why CIS vs MFI or Carbs on a modified 2.7 but hey, nice looking car ! Should do very well !

Glwta!

My plan was to carb it when the CIS gave me trouble but but it has been flawless

Totally agree with you... I once has a 2.4 CIS car (73.5) and like you was ready with carbs but it ran so sweetly, forever, always started, restarted... I have an MFI now, it's super fun/brutal/loud but not as civilized for sure.

Are you keeping an aircooled beast or is this goodbye old porsche for you ?

gregpark 05-19-2025 08:28 AM

If it ain't broke I ain't fixin it is my philosophy. The car runs like a top.
There's nothing more i want to do to this car so time to go. I'll get another when the opprotunity arises

gregpark 05-19-2025 08:30 AM

How do you post a proper link? BAT encourages public posting so you'd think it would be simple. Maybe someone can do it for me

I need a long lost uncle to die and leave me a bunch of money to win this!

Selling that car must be like signing up for a circumcision as an adult.

gregpark 05-19-2025 08:58 AM

It'll hurt a little, such a fun and pretty car. I need that spot in my garage for a daddyo table saw i have my eye on. In the mean time I have a WRX if I feel the need. It has more HP and can corner impressively with AWD.
But, there's something unique about driving a SWB 911

Nice car, Greg. Hate to see her go. Gonna guess $80K......

KFC911 05-19-2025 09:16 AM

If only it wasn't red ... 100K :D!

Good luck ... beautiful car!

I have zero clue.

When Uncle Sam finally croaks ... we're gonna be set :D

.... mebbe?

Red cars don't appeal to me either but I like this deep dark polo red. All the other Porsche reds don't do anything for me

daddyo?

I don't know much about the range of woodworking tools. I think Stumpy Nubs uses a "Harvey" which has the cast iron top nickel plated. And then, of course, there's sawstop, which is expensive, but cheaper than body parts.

Tobra 05-19-2025 11:06 AM

Dado maybe

Sweet 911

gregpark 05-19-2025 11:14 AM

The saw I'm buying has buku power, requires 220v, and fork lift to move. It will require a whole car space. The brand name is Powermatic and it's a DaddyO! saw
