Guess who's back...Lendaddy

Hey folks, it's been a minute... I've had some medical stuff that kept me away for long time (I think almost 5 years?), but I've improved enough to get nostalgic about this place and post. I won't go into details about my situation but rest assured I'm mostly OK and not about to subtract from the population... So let's not discuss that at all.

Anyway, I checked out the site a few times and was surprised by how many of you guys are still here! That's great and I have recently been thinking about how much I enjoyed this community. Maybe it's gone to hell(or already was and I was too naive to notice) but either way I've missed it and it's about time I check back in.
I'm currently Porscheless but doubt that will last forever. I've got two son's (19 and 21) that are deeply into cars and they are both currently on the prowl for their next project. This triggered my memory about this place and how much we'd bounce [mostly stupid] ideas off each other and share info. Anyways, I don't want to make this too long, but good deal that many of you are still here and helping each other...makes me smile.
-Lendaddy

Welcome back...this place hasn't changed much!
You're surely not the only one here being Porscheless.

Welcome back. Glad that you're around to come back.
What sort of projects are you thinking about?

What sort of Porsche stew you may be next on your agenda?

Helped my buddy pick up a Cayman S (an older one even) and was blown away by the "fun to drive" quotient of that little car. I think a Cayman would be my next move.

Funny story, In was at a graduation party for a friends kid last year and some random guy comes up and says "you're the guy that had that beautiful 930 aren't you"? I said yes I think so and he then told me a picture of my car has been his screen saver for the last 10 years... Wild

Good call on the Cayman by the way, keep us posted. With all things 911 going crazy in price, I think the Cayman is a sweet spot and one hell of a car.
