Frankenstein
Guillermo Del Torro's version releases in theaters Oct 17th (including some IMAX), then to Netflix Nov 7th. The cast includes Oscar Isaac and Christoph Waltz. I'm up for it. I think the visuals will be first class.

Definitely looking forward to this one. Pan's Labyrinth was one of the truly great films of the last 25 years IMO.

I can tell from that preview, Young Frankenstein is closer to the original story, and a lot funnier!

It's supposed have a limited release on 10/17, but I can't find it until 10/23, and it's very limited. There's a two part miniseries done by Hallmark in 2004 that's supposed to be the closest adaptation to Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. Not highly rated, but it streams on Amazon, so I'll watch it. Supposedly, the creature isn't as ugly or mean as is should be. I should read the book. I've heard all kinds of weird stuff happens.
