The projected Florida Gators commit is ranked by one site as the top college football recruit overall in the 2027 class.

According to 247 Sports, he’s not just the top quarterback in the country. He’s the top player overall. The Baton Rouge, La., product is the top quarterback on On3/Rivals and ESPN as well.

Michigan's NCAA investigation into sign-stealing has gone on for months. Friday the NCAA announced it's decision in the way of sanctions. Josh Pate reacted to the news of big fines, individual punishments for Jim Harbaugh and Connor Stallions, one more game added to the suspension of Sherrone Moore, and other minor details. What about no postseason ban or vacating of wins?

For those not "in the know" - he's a former 5 star high school recruit who chose Alabama over a bunch of other schools who made offers. But never saw the field at Bama - an early enrollee who did practice with the team prior to their bowl game in 2023, but after Nick Saban retired he entered the portal, transferring to Ohio State last year, and played in 5 games.

That’s now 3 former Bama QBs that were behind Ty Simpson (Bama's named starter for 2025) on the depth chart that are now QB1s at other Power 5 schools.
