Police, especially in larger cities, spend a lot of time dealing with dirtbags and other assorted idiots, so I can see how some might develop an 'us & them' attitude toward 'civilians' and could feel more comfortable being around others with similar backgrounds.

Some. It’s taught day one in the academies.

Civvies are simply a mark for them.

Yeah, we need pics of the nutter's homes.

I really don't get it at all.

Here’s the place I was referring to. The cross st side of the house (to the right) is pretty overgrown. You can only see the second floor. I didn’t hang out long, lol. All of the blinds look like they’re damaged from residents constantly peeking through! I was probably being watched while snapping the picture..

Wait, someone’s knocking at the door,,,,,,,,,,

You are being watched. The government has a system that monitors your every move, all day, every day.

The signs around that property recall similar postings at a residence about 6 miles from here. The house was so run down it was demolished after it became vacant. Rumor had it the fellow had been committed.

For some reason that gives me more of a drug lab vibe than a prepper. Too much unkept foliage near the house, that’s where Charlie will hide for ambushes.:D

I was picturing something not in town…. That place would be hard to defend with such a flimsy gate and perimeter. I give them a C letter grade on prepping.

I too expected acreage. Not a postage stamp.
That’s a planter rather than a field of fire.

That’s not the OP house. That’s a local to me house.

Arizona_928 09-01-2025 07:01 PM

That explains the tweaker proof fence. You guys must have a lot of break ins

70SATMan 09-02-2025 06:26 AM

What can I say,,, they know how the world really works. Tweakers seem to be acceptable, just don’t make the mistake of parking in front of the house.

The masks on the poles to the left of the house represent previous offenders. You really have to see it in person to get the real sense of cray, cray.

The house to the left and most every other in that whole neighborhood are Joe normal.
