I think tipping for new and different things is a good idea! Wouldn't you want to reward a member here if you got good advice, a great picture, or a funny remark?

I get so many free drinks already on domestic flight, I wouldn't mind tipping them, but then I'm polite and low-maint. when I fly. So they're not having to do much more than hand me the drink and sometimes tap my Amex.

LOL. Most drunk people have no idea how rude and high maintenance they are. The more someone drinks, the less clear thinking they are. That's why they don't think "hey maybe I shouldn't drive after a dozen shots".
