I wouldn't say it was...just a nice caramel flavor. The bottle says all natural flavor added.(for what that's worth)
It's brewed in Lakewood, NY

For the price...I think it's a good beer.

Meijer had this one last night, along with the Caramel one above.
The Caramel is a lot better...imo. But I'm not a pumpkin fan to start with.

It's October. I've moved on to porters and stouts.

Mas Krug = 1 litre

Don't forget about Pils and Helles are major German bier varieties. Closer to lager and very Bavarian. Then you get the wheat types, barf city.

^^^ There is a Mexican Grille near me that offers tap beer in a quart mug, or 1 liter size.

I ordered it once with food...I thought I was never going to finish it, my belly was like a football.:D

it was 75-80 last few days. Just looked at weather, now we in seasonal 60s later this week so I will have to find some Maine Beer Company Mean Old Tom. But it was nice while it lasted.

Mmmmmm I used to make a Porter that I put fresh vanilla beans in after fermenting.

stevej37 10-08-2025 01:27 PM

Last winter I made a batch of Kahlua that called for fresh vanilla beans....the beans were more costly
than the liquor. (almost)

Yeah. I found that a real vanilla extract was cheaper and easier ultimately than putting the beans in the brew. Plus I didn't have to wait for the flavor because with a good extract it was instant. I'm very much an instant gratification kinda guy when it comes to my beer which is why I don't lager.
