A red light was spotted coming from the outfield stands and shining into the batters box. A dumbazz fan with a laser? Wierd stuff.

I think the guy was just taking a picture with a camera that had a focus assist light and that is what was seen.
Could be wrong, of course, but that's my guess.

Here's something I found out recently. The reason Elvis Presley never toured overseas is because Col Tom Parker wasn't a U.S. citizen and he was afraid (among other things) that he wouldn't be allowed back in the country and would lose his "meal ticket".

"Elvis' manager, Colonel Tom Parker (whose real name was Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk) was an illegal alien. Sending Elvis overseas, where Parker would have needed a passport to travel, would have jeopardized his being "found out".
