What bit sounds like mutual combat?
Quote:
“PT did not have his hearing aids in because his truck is very loud when he is exchanging the frying oil for the hotel, so he had to lean in close to Mr Sanchez to hear him,” the affidavit reads.
“When PT leaned in, he stated that Mr Sanchez smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred,” the affidavit continues.
Shortly afterward, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Sanchez, 38, allegedly hurled the driver against a wall before throwing him to the ground, at which point the driver said he stabbed the Fox Sports analyst in self-defense.

from the same article, they now have a timeline of activity.
Quote:
Just after midnight
A grease truck driver picking up cooking oil from a nearby hotel parks his truck in the loading dock, blocking the alley where Sanchez is doing sprints.
Sanchez approaches the driver to try to get him to move and eventually gets into an altercation where he body-slams him toward the wall and then to the ground.
The driver sprayed Sanchez with mace or pepper spray, but the former NFL quarterback continues attacking him.
The driver pulls a knife and stabs Sanchez two or three times in the chest, believing, “This guy is trying to kill me.”

We all know that the article could be total crap that's intended to spark outrage that the QD beat up an old man. I think we all, also know that there are old dudes that are dumb enough to start crap with a young fit dude whether they think they can take him or think that they can bluff their way to a win.
We just don't know. The old man could have been mouthy and started crap. My thoughts tend to mirror the picture that the article tries to paint "old guy gets stomped by younger, fitter hot head". But we all know that there's no telling what really happened without having video with clear audio or being there.
