Here's Chance...

We adopted him a year and a half ago from a beagle rescue site in Newfoundland. He had been abandoned after the rabbit season, probably due to his age (he's about 7 or 8 years old). He was found rummaging through someone's garbage in January, and taken to a vet, who passed him along to the beagle rescue folks (http://www.beaglepaws.com). He weighed about 20 lbs at the time, and had pressure sores from being in a small cage and an infected neck from having his collar rust into his neck. He now weighs 42 lb, and is pretty much healed up. He is, by far, the nicest dog I have ever owned. He is also dumb as a post.

This is our new dog, Diablo. Rescued from the pound. 2 year old Coonhound and Doberman mix, we think. This was his first day at our house. I lost track of him and searched the house, finding him sacked out in front of the big screen ......

And here he is guarding the Porsches

Had a Malamute for many years. He tangled with a Caddy and the car won. Was a good pup...

Have a "rescue cat" that thinks she is a dog. I throw the ball and she brings it back... we do this for an hour at end until I get tired of the game.
