Very cute :)

Put this in another thread but it really belongs here.
He's not an Irish Setter as about 90% of the people who meet him think....because of his copper coat. (More obvious in person) Miles: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1070405282.jpg |
And here is my Blue tick Coon hound Elvis pooping, it's his secind favorite thing to do besides eating.

Thanks Ash. Our house is a little crazy right now with all the puppy energy she has.
Rick...he looks like a golden. It is funny sometimes what breed people think our dogs are sometimes. A few people have asked us if Bailey (the chinese shar-pei) was a bulldog too...:)...but i'll admit shar-pei are still not that common so I can understand when they don't know what he is. Frank...I don't think Elvis is too happy with you taking his picture at that moment in time. ;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1070474067.jpg |

These 3 pictures are so good. What a cute little dog :) Love the one at the table :D |

Ben goes to work with me everyday. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1071319148.jpg This is Ben and his mom, Toast. Also my new son Carson teasing them with a cookie. |
Those are great pictures. :)
Our Bailey is usually easy to take a picture of. He just sits there all regal looking. Spanky is the one who has all the expression, and Kota...I'm surprised I have any pictures of her sitting still. She is usually bouncing all over the place. Here is an old holiday picture of Spanky. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1071512213.jpg |
Here is a shot of Flash with the Boys. This summer he learned how to climb the ladder and go down the slide on our swingset. Now he does it all by himself when he thinks we aren't watching...But mostly he just sits on the couch.

lol, and all this time I thought you only had the dogs
|
One of my all-time favorite threads!!! The "small dog" thread reminded me about this one!! more spanky/bailey/flash pics???? :D
|
So I wake up on Easter Sunday and the Mrs. does this to my boy... Made him wear those things all day. I threatened to call the animal abuse hotline. The only thing worse than her taking the photos of him with those ears, ARE ME POSTING THEM ON THE INTERNET. I hope he isn't traumatized.

here is Flash hangin' with the new nephew. Just chillin' yo.

I'm a cat person, myself. Got these two from "Pet Orphans." The orange one weighs 21 lbs.

Esther...this is one of my favorite threads too! :)
I have a lot of new pictures...here are a few more: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087234948.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087234964.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087234984.jpg |
Judas Priest!
I never miss a chance to post a pic of my dogs. Here is a recent one of my new pup, he is already half way to his hunting title. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087243058.jpg |
Tim...awesome picture. Great nose. :) My husband (tim) has been taking our little lab mix hunting and she is doing great. She has so much energy we have to continue to find her outlets.
|
Thanks Sara,
I am really proud of him, my other one is a female. and she is a real sweetheart too. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087248236.jpg But very serious and always keeping the boys in line. |
|
don't have a dog yet...
but I have a really cool rabbit http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087258380.jpg |
These pictures are great. That rabbit looks dog sized...and kind of has the same coloring and wrinkles as our Bailey. Here are some more! :)
Look at me...no front feet!! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087323202.jpg Maybe if I ignore her...she'll go away?? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087323241.jpg Sshhhhh...I said i'm sleeping! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087323333.jpg My face isn't fat...i'm just retaining a little water...;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087323429.jpg |
LOVE IT!! especially sleeping Bailey(?) with his tongue peeking out!!! :D Does he snore? we had a doberman long ago that snored like crazy!
|
The sleeping one is Spanky. :) He does snore but not a loud as he used to. One time all 3 dogs plus Tim were snoring and I couldn't sleep. Maybe they all need those breath right things?? ;)

Another one of those humiliating holiday pet photos:

Sad News :(
We have very very sad news. :(
Our Bailey (the Chinese Sharpei) had to be put down last week for kidney failure. He would have been only 5 this August. We hoped he would have lived much longer and not have the "bad" genes that cause so many sharpei to die so young. Thanks for all the kind words regarding all his pictures that have been shared. Sarah~ |
Sarah;
Sorry to hear the news. At least Bailey got to see the springtime in Minnesota. One of the most incredible places at the most beautiful time of the year I have ever seen anywhere on the planet. Condolences. |
Sarah:
So sorry about your loss. Really isn't fair that such things like "bad genes" are considerations when choosing a dog. I love Great Danes but cannot stand the thought of going through what you every 8-9 years. We chose a weimarauner this time and dread ever losing him. Again, so sorry for you and your family. |
:( Sarah & Tim, I'm so sorry about Bailey. Losing a family member is never easy *HUGS*
|
Sarah.
Im sorry for the lost of Bailey:( Of the pictures ive seen of him posted, i see a happy dog who lived a happy life and a family who cared & loved him very much... |
This is a picture of my spoiled little girl....
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1089228260.jpg Noodles!! |
Sarah,
So sorry. I love big wrinkly dogs. We had to put down one of our rotties a few years ago. One of the hardest things I have ever done. |
Thanks so much you guys for all the very thoughtful words. It really means alot to us and we know many of you have gone through the same thing with a pet/s.
Porsches and dogs are my favorite things to talk about and take pictures of so this board and all the great people are really one of a kind. Thanks, S~ |
New dog...
