Thor, our 11 year old Berner died about 14 mos. ago, like your Newfoundland he was a big furry rug... Momo is very similar to Thor, even at 16 weeks he's very very low key and gentle, he thinks he's a lapdog. We weighed him this morning and he's up to 30lbs. Today was also a landmark day, gave him his first bath, he did Ok, can't say he loved it though.

Hank and Ella: best buds after a hard day of really, really, hard play. Ella, the dane, pretty easily dominates Hank the 90lb ridgeback:

great thread. I miss Gus and Spock.
Whatever happened to that Porsche and Dog Thread? |
Dan - Are you talking about a thread w/ people's dogs in their porsches? It was around a while back. I pull-up this thread b/c people seem to post new pics pretty often. So Gus & Spock must have passed away. Sorry about that. Many people who post on here have lost pets over the years whose pics are in the beginning pages of this thread (my sharpei's included). It is always sad/hard when one of our animal family members pass away. S~

He's a beauty, hope he comfortable. Spoil him, neither one of you will ever regret it.

Goldens are just the sweetist dogs. fun, even-tempered, earnest. You'll miss him mightily. It sounds odd to say, but it's easier when you're prepared for it than when it just happens out of the blue. If you put him down, you'll know it's to help him out.
My dane is an awesome dog; best I've ever had in her way. Big, goofy, unbelievably attentive and affectionate. But she's got this little mean streak that keeps thing interesting for my rhodie, who doesn't have a deceitful hair on his wiry body. |
