That's the way my buddy Tim plays all of his shots. He rarely hits what he intends too, but has broken some lights above the table...

3 ball went in the side, then the table was cleaned. Matt is the 2nd best in the Northwest @ 9 ball. Has a 4-A ranking...just below pure pro. He teaches pool @ the U of Oregon. As an opponent once told me: "Matt has more tricks than a monkey on a rope."

Does he use his break cue to jump?

Nope...he has a seperate break cue, or often breaks with his playing cue after he has the rack figured out...he "soft breaks" or smashes 'em, depending on how he reads the rack or table.

So he has a golf bag full of equipment and you for a caddy! Sounds like fun.

Does he get roaring drunk while he plays, like I do?

Thom, my friend and I ended up with a price that we both agreed on, and I was going to buy it. Even had a climate controlled place to store it and the $$ ready.
At the last minute his father decided that he didn't want to let it leave the family, so he "bought" it from his son. I was a little disapointed to be honest, although my wife wasn't, she didn't think we needed another project, and this would have been a major one. I have my eyes on a nice original double cab that isn't located to far from my house, but the guy won't sell. I am being patient though, no huge rush. obligitory picture: ![]() |
